A new home for Yin

one calm place for the practice

July 12, 2026  ·  3 minute read  ·  by Katie

For a long time now, everything I make has lived on YouTube. I love YouTube — it’s where we found each other — but it was never built for the way people actually practise Yin. You’d come looking for “something for my hips before bed,” and end up scrolling past thumbnails, half-remembering which class was the good one, talking yourself out of rolling out the mat at all.

So I made something better. This whole site is a proper home for the practice — free, no login, nothing to buy. Just the calmest, clearest way I could imagine to find the right practice and actually do it. Here’s what’s waiting for you.

A library that finally makes sense

Every class I’ve made, in one place — and you can filter it the way your body actually asks for things. Under 20 minutes. For sleep. Hips and lower back. Full body. Tap what’s true for you tonight and the right classes rise to the top. No more scrolling, no more guessing.

The Library — 310+ free classes, filtered by focus, length and format.

A pose library, to understand the shapes

Not just what to do, but why. Each Yin pose now has its own page — what it targets, how long to hold, the gentler option and the deeper one, and the little cues that make all the difference. And every class links straight to the poses inside it, so if you’ve ever wondered “wait, what’s this one doing for me?”, the answer is one tap away.

Every pose has its own page — cues, hold times, cautions, and a built-in timer.

Guided programs, so you never have to decide

This is the one I’m most excited about. If you’ve ever wanted a path rather than a pick-and-mix, I’ve built short guided programs — a few classes each — that take the deciding off your plate. The Bedtime Reset. Free Your Hips. Full-Body Flexibility. The Calm Reset. Press play on day one and just follow along.

Build your own month — with reminders

There’s a calendar planner where you can lay out your practice, drop classes (or a whole program) onto the days that suit you, and send the lot to your own Google, Apple or Outlook calendar — reminders and all. Because the practice that changes you is the one you actually come back to.

Self-guided Yin Yoga routines, filterable by area and mood
Prefer no screen? Self-guided routines time each hold for you — by area, mood and length.

And a gift to begin with

If you’re new here — or you just need permission to stop for a couple of hours — I’ve made you a free two-hour retreat: a guided journey through Yin, restorative yoga and Yoga Nidra to melt off a hard week and settle your nervous system. It’s normally a members-only class, and it’s yours to keep.

I’ve poured a lot of quiet hours into this, and it will keep growing — I’m writing up more classes every week, and I’ll be sharing more here in the Journal, too. Have a wander, and if something would make it more useful to you, I’d genuinely love to know.
