Yin Routine · Beginner
15 easy minutes to meet the practice
15 min · 6 poses · no props
The kindest possible way to begin. Fifteen quiet minutes of simple, well-supported shapes — nothing to memorise, nothing to keep up with, and an easier option in every pose. You'll find a comfortable edge, soften, and simply stay while gravity and time do the work. There's no such thing as doing this wrong. Come as you are, breathe slowly, and let each shape be easy.
Press play and follow along — each hold is timed, with a gentle chime and a moment to ease out before the next pose. Use Skip or Prev to move at your own pace.
Completely — it's designed for a first practice. Every shape is simple and well-supported, with an easier option, so you can't get it wrong. Just find a gentle edge, soften, and stay.
Neither. A mat or bit of carpet is enough, and Yin doesn't ask for flexibility — you're working with gravity and time, not reaching for a deep stretch. A cushion to sit on is nice but optional.
A few gentle sessions a week is a lovely, realistic rhythm to let the shapes and the stillness become familiar. Little and often does far more than long and rare.
