A gentle evening of Yin that gives your shoulders all the attention. We melt the chest down in Melting Heart, let gravity ease the shoulders open in Bow-Tie and Broken Wing, and finish by lengthening the spine with Cow-Face Arms — each shape held for a few slow minutes so the day’s tightness can quietly unwind. It’s the perfect way to release the tension we carry high in the body before bed. Come as you are — every pose has a gentler option and a deeper one, and you choose what feels right tonight.
Anyone with tight shoulders or a long day behind them who wants to switch off before sleep — whether you’re brand new to Yin or already have a practice. If you’ve been hunched at a desk, carrying stress in your neck, or you simply feel wound up at the end of the day, this class meets you where you are.
Just your mat, and somewhere warm and quiet where you can be still. A strap or belt is lovely for the Cow-Face Arms near the end, and a yoga block is handy to rest your forehead on — but don’t worry if you haven’t got them, you can do the whole routine without. A cushion or blanket nearby is welcome for extra comfort. Press pause any time you need to.

It runs about 40 min. Yin is slow and floor-based, so you can settle in — and pause any time you need to.
It helps to have strap or belt, yoga block nearby, but you can always improvise with cushions, blankets or books, or simply take the option that needs no props.
Yes. It's an all-levels class — every pose has a gentler option, so work at about 80% of your edge and ease off whenever you need to.
