A slow, gentle 26-minute morning practice — an easy way to greet the day and stretch out anything that settled in overnight. We begin softly in Child’s Pose with a few side stretches, then wake the spine through Cat-Cow, open the hips in Baby Dragon and Twisted Dragon, take a full-body stretch in Downward Dog, and unwind the shoulders and neck before a quiet closing. Nothing here is rushed or demanding — just a warm, unhurried way to feel a little looser and more awake. Come as you are, and take the lighter or the deeper option in each shape as your body asks.
Anyone who likes to ease into the morning slowly rather than launch straight into something intense. It’s lovely if you wake up feeling a little stiff, or you simply want a calm, gentle stretch to settle your mind before the day gets going. New to Yin? You’re very welcome here — read the pose notes below first, then follow along and let the shapes meet you where you are.
Just your mat and a little space to move. No props are required, though a cushion or folded blanket is always welcome under the hips or knees, and a couple of blocks or books under your hands can soften Dragon if you’d like a gentler version. Wear something comfy, and feel free to keep it warm and quiet around you.

Yes — that's exactly what it's made for. Everything moves slowly and gently, so there's no jolt to the system. We start soft in Child's Pose and gradually open the spine, hips and shoulders, so you can roll out of bed, onto the mat, and let your body wake up at its own pace.
No props are needed — just your mat. If it feels nicer, you're welcome to slip a cushion or folded blanket under your hips or knees, and a couple of blocks or books under your hands can make Dragon a little easier. All optional, nothing required.
It is. Every shape has a lighter option and a deeper one, so you choose how far to go. Come to about 60–80% of your stretch, keep the breath soft and slow, and come out of anything sooner if you need to. Come as you are and let the practice meet you where you're at.
