What this Yin class is

A full ninety minutes of Yin, with a gentle twist of imagination. As we practise, we let our awareness settle in as though we’re taking a seat in a movie theatre — and the body becomes the show. Moving slowly through each long, deep stretch, you simply watch: the sensations, the breath, the quiet. It’s a full-body deep stretch and a lovely way to build body awareness and let the day’s distractions fade. Come as you are — every pose has a gentler option and a deeper one.

Who this class is for

Everyone is welcome, whatever your experience. Whether you’re new to Yin or well into your practice, you’ll find your depth here. If you’d love a long, absorbing full-body stretch that also quiets a busy mind, settle in.

What you need

Just your mat, and a warm, quiet space where you can be still for a while. Keep a cushion or blanket nearby if you’d like a little support in the longer holds. Press pause whenever you need to.

A gentle reminder: Yin asks you to respect your limits, not override them. Come out of any pose that feels like pain rather than sensation, ease off if your hands tingle or a knee complains, and take your time coming out of the long holds — the body feels tender for a moment, and that passes. This practice is about taking good care of your body, never pushing it.
