What this Yin class is

A full hour of silent, bedtime Yin — a gentle full-body wind-down to release the day and settle your body toward sleep. I keep the cues to a minimum, just enough to guide you into each shape, so you can enjoy the quiet and let your mind grow still. It’s a lovely one to do in dim light, right before bed. Come as you are — every pose has a softer option and a deeper one.

Who this class is for

Anyone who wants to switch off and sleep more easily — and anyone who loves a quiet, meditative practice with very little talking. New to Yin? Have a read of the pose notes below, then follow the shapes at your own pace.

Common questions

How long is this Yin Yoga class?

It runs about 60 min. Yin is slow and floor-based, so you can settle in — and pause any time you need to.

Do I need any props for this class?

No props needed — just a mat and a warm, quiet space. A cushion or blanket nearby is always welcome for extra comfort.

Is this class suitable for beginners?

Yes. It's an all-levels class — every pose has a gentler option, so work at about 80% of your edge and ease off whenever you need to.

Is this a silent Yin class?

Yes — I keep the cues to a minimum so you can drop out of your head and fully into the practice. Have a read of the poses below first if you're new, then follow along at your own pace.

A gentle reminder: Yin asks you to respect your limits, not override them. Come out of any pose that feels like pain rather than sensation, ease off if your hands tingle or a knee complains, and take your time coming out of the long holds — the body feels tender for a moment, and that passes. This practice is about taking good care of your body, never pushing it.
